Before Whiteleys

Originally from Sydney, Michael commenced his career at a Sydney CBD firm, a large, top-tier national law firm now known as Corrs Chambers Westgarth.

But the country was calling and, by 1985, Michael and his small family moved to Orange for a new beginning. It has been close to 40 long and fruitful years since the move and during that time Michael has established himself as a much revered and trusted lawyer to the community of Orange.

When he’s not at Whiteleys

Michael and his wife Julia have four adult children who were raised on the outskirts of Orange. Although the children have flown the coop, they frequently return home to soak up home comforts of Mum’s cooking and drink Michael’s wine.

In his spare time, Michael likes to swing a golf club at Duntry League Golf Club but is not keen to talk about his handicap. He enjoys swimming to keep fit and pottering in his garden.

He’s in a book club and has a surprising love of bright coloured pants!
